Video of the week - God is High and Lifted Up(Hillsong)

To start this praise journey, I only wanted to tell the Lord that he is the most High and deserves the hihgest praise no matter what.

So let's Join Hillsongs to tell the Lord, You are High and Lifted Up and My soul sings Halleluia....

Here are the Lyrics :

High And Lifted Up Lyrics

Lord of all the earth
And all of heaven
I come and seek Your face
Worship You with all I have within me
Humbled by Your grace

Every heart every nation
Every tribe all creation
Will bow before Your presence and sing

You are high and lifted up
You are high and lifted up
And my soul sings hallelujah
To the Lamb
The Lamb of God

Lord of righteousness
You come in glory
Bright and morning star
All my days I'll worship and adore You
Healer of my heart

Every prayer every cry
You alone satisfy
We will lift Your praise
Again and again

Majesty
Majesty
Jesus Lamb of God
Majesty
Majesty
Holy are You Lord

The Daily Worship Challenge : Let's make it permanent!

It has been some time now that the second tour of the daily worship challenge is over.

Why not make it permanent?

I propose to call it our PRAISE JOURNEY.

 Here is the regimen:

  • Daily = 30' Daily worship
  • Weekly = Count the blessings of the Lord one by one
  • Monthly = Document what he has done - what we have learned - Any new thing we've got as far as praise and worship is concerned.
If you are IN let me know and if you got any suggestion to make this praise journey improved, let me know.

God richly bless you as you spend time in HIS presence!

With Love, Glory

30' Daily Worship Challenge

Happy new year to you all!

It is more than a month that the New Year has started.

So how did it kick off for you??? Are they new resolution? New engagements? New challenges???
If NO, then I wonder what you will use to evaluate the success of your year or how to measure how much you have done in the race God has called you into.
If YES, praise God, you may share those with us so that we pray and encourage you will all we are and have to help you make it.

Whether your reply was YES or NO, I have a challenge/objective to propose.
Just as much as I think the best way to conclude 2009 was to take a time, alone in the presence of God and count his blessings, then thank and worship hip him for who is; I do believe that all those who will dare to make the decision, take the stand to worship God throughout 2010 will not only ensure wonderful year filled with God’s presence, but more again have God’s joy be their strength in everyday battle and throughout the year.See Nehemiah 8:10.

That is the reason why I am proposing this challenge to all of you.

The challenge consists in:
- First, putting aside 30 minutes of our 24hours of the day for the Lord. Just coming in his presence, not to intercede and ask something, but just to say how much we love him, how great he is and just worshiping him as he will lead by the Holy Spirit.
It will be best that this be when we start our day as for sure it makes our day better, lighter and fills us with God’s strength, peace and strength for the day. But if you cannot make it early in the morning, just find 3o minutes at another time that suits you.
- Secondly, after the week, each member should post a sort of report of how his daily 30 minutes have been (Was it OK? Was there a problem? Does he need something to better spice these 30 minutes…).These will be turned into prayer topics.
- Lastly if there is any particular testimony or something that the Lord is doing in your life through the 30 minutes Challenge, just come and share it with us so that we praise him with you and all of us see all that the Lord can do through praise and Worship.
These are the rules for the challenge. Those who are in just have to signal themselves so that we put them in prayer and check how it going.

Personally I am IN and look forward to spending and hour just loving and worshipping him.
May all those who think this will be blissful to their life, just get in and let’s offer huge praise to our God, because HE ALONE IS WORTHY.

This is my first proposal for 2010.Much more to come.

A video to supplement the post :

Remain blessed as you dwell in his presence.

With Love,
Glory

Count Your blessings name them One by One

“Count your blessings, name them one by one, Count your blessings, see what God hath done!
Count your blessings, name them one by one, And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.”

Play the song with the lyrics available by clicking here: http://www.guadadvent.org/cantiques-527.html

This is the refrain of a song that many of us definitely know. Yet few, even among the praise ministers will recognize that they practice this recommendation of the chorus which fully complies with the word of God.

In fact, it is said in Psalms 103:2 “Praise ye the Lord, And forget not all his benefits! “

And to continue the psalmist says again in Psalm 116:12 “How shall I render unto the Lord all his benefits toward me? “

It is clear from reading these passages that the Lord grants many blessings to his creatures and many more to those who honor him.

Or as I already said above, how often we despise the grace of the Lord and forget the favors he has graciously blessed us with. Sometimes we take these for granted and do not see why it's special.
Or again, we are more absorbed by what we want or what we lack, we do not appreciate the gracious gifts of the Most High.

1 Samuel 12:7
Now, introduce yourself, and I will judge you before the LORD on all the blessings that the Lord has given you, you and your fathers.

Nehemiah 9:35 “As they were the masters, among the many blessings that you gave them, in the vast and fertile that you had them delivered, they do not served thee, and they are not diverted from their evil works. “

Today we are in no point different from the people of Israel and our fathers mentioned in these passages.

You do not agree with this ??

When last did you take the time to thank the Heavenly Father for each of the favors he has granted you?
I speak to thank him for each of these blessings, not a general thank you that encompasses all as we know so well to do when it comes to gratitude, and yet we master the art of details when it comes to our queries / needs ...

2009 ends today and for once I propose that we break with the habit of listing our needs for 2010 and eagerly await for the verse of this year or sermon / preaching that promises much happiness and prosperity for the new year.
I suggest that before you start with 2010, that you take time before the Most High to count his blessings since January 1st 2009 and thank him for each of these graces.

2009 might have been a difficult year in many respects and perhaps for you, you've never had more difficult year. It is possible I'll admit. But as Paul rightly says it in Romans 8:28
"We know, however, that all things work together for good to them that love God, to those who are called according to His purpose..."
Certainly these difficulties have been used by God for your good.
You tell me that these can be empty words and a song already heard. It does not change the fact that it is the word of God, living and active, "... the power of God for the salvation of everyone whoever believes ..." Romans 1:16

So I'm sure if you give this a try, stop a moment and honestly lists and count the blessings of God to you for this day, this week, this month and this year you will find enough reasons to smile, to thank God and scream with joy and gratitude because with no doubt, Count your blessings, name them one by one, And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.”

It is my suggestion for you worshiper.
That's my advice to cap off 2009.
It is the right attitude for every creature with a heart to worship his creator
It is my recommendation for each member of this network.

Simply take a few moments, alone with God, a time of intimacy with your heavenly Father,
“Count your blessings, name them one by one, Count your blessings, see what God hath done!
Count your blessings, name them one by one, And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.”

With love.

Glory
